FAQs
Do they hurt?
No they do not! They are completely painless! Most kids think the air is cold as they are being applied. Some even say they tickle!
Are your temporary tattoos safe?
Yes they are! We only use the finest temporary airbrush tattoo inks. These inks or paints are FDA approved with hypoallergenic, cosmetic grade ingredients. We’ve been doing these airbrush tattoos since 2002 and have never had any allergic reactions to our inks. As for our glitter tattoos we use a medical adhesive used for attaching prosthetics. You can’t get much safer than that!
How long will it take?
It usually only takes a minute or two to spray an airbrush tattoo. Of course, this depends on how large and intricate the design is.
Glitter tattoos take about five to six minutes to apply due to the fact that the adhesive is applied by hand with a small brush as is the glitter itself.
How long will my temporary tattoo last?
Our longest reported airbrush tattoo lasted for 2 ½ weeks!, but most last from 3 to 10 days. Many factors determine how long a temporary tattoo will last, such as:
Glitter tattoos normally last about two weeks, depending on the placement of the tattoo. Try to place the design where your clothing won’t be rubbing on it.
How can I remove my temporary tattoo?
There are two types of airbrush paint or ink. One that is longer lasting and applying baby oil or alcohol while scrubbing with a paper towel or wash cloth will quickly remove these airbrush tattoos. The other type of paint comes off simply by scrubbing the design with soap and water.
Glitter tattoos require much more scrubbing using baby oil or the adhesive remover goo gone.
What is the best way to prolong the life of my temporary tattoo?
Be careful not to scrub your tattoo with a wash cloth or sponge while taking a bath or shower. When drying off, pat it dry, don't wipe it.
After a bath, shower or swimming, apply baby powder to your temporary airbrush tattoo. This will dry and set the paint and help the tattoo last longer. Avoid wearing tight fitting cloths that rub on your tattoo.
The same goes for glitter tattoos….avoid scrubbing them in the shower or bath and pat dry when you get out. No powder necessary for glitter tattoos. Avoid wearing tight fitting cloths that rub on your tattoo.
